ELEC 101 — Fundamentals & OSHA Safety
Students learn electrical theory, electrical terms, OSHA safety practices, NEC code concepts, and hands-on installation of outlets, wiring switches, receptacles, and lights.
Hours: 10 lecture hours + 14 lab hours / 24 total hours
ELEC 102 — Material Handling
Students learn about electrical boxes, tool safety, alternative energy, Ohm’s law, wiring diagrams, material recognition, installing Romex, and proper terminating.

ELEC 103 — OSHA Regulations & Electrical Testing
This section covers structure terminology, Lockout/Tagout safety, NEC and ladder safety, electrical voltage testing, installation of junction boxes, and sizing.

ELEC 104 — Wiring
Students learn electric feeders, electrical circuit principles, circuit planning, individual branch circuits, splicing conductors, installing cables, marking and installing branch circuits, and terminating conductors.

ELEC 105 — Conduit & Construction Safety
This section covers types of conduit, construction safety, conduit formulas, conduit fittings, bending and installing conduit, pulling conductors, bracing, and proper strapping.

ELEC 106 — Code Requirements
Students learn service load calculations, AFCI and GFCI types, how AFCI and GFCI work, code requirements, outlet spacing, and surge protector installation.

This section covers voltage drop calculations, box fill, SEP and sub-panels, breaker types, panel clearances, mounting SEP, breaker installation, panel wiring, and ground rod installation.
