01 — PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Summer Youth Initiative Program at Texas Technical Trade School gives graduating seniors real, hands-on experience in the Electrical and HVAC industries. Students train in real labs, work with industry tools, and build the foundational skills needed to enter high-demand careers with confidence.
ELECTRICAL TRAINING
Gain hands-on experience working with wiring, circuits, and real-world electrical systems used in residential and commercial settings. Students will learn fundamental electrical theory, safety practices, and practical installation techniques while training in fully equipped labs that simulate real job environments.
HVAC SYSTEMS
Develop a strong understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems through practical, hands-on training. Learn how these systems operate, how to troubleshoot common issues, and how to perform basic maintenance and service tasks using the same tools and methods professionals use in the field.
